Liquid Crystals is an AR experience designed to merge the digital with the physical through an interactive journey across Tiohtià:ke / Mooniyang / Montréal. Experience 11 augmented reality artworks that you can access as filters using your mobile device.
Liquid Crystals features visions of the land, Indigenous sovereignty in digital spaces, and issues surrounding climate change. The artwork appears in various locations around the city, offering spontaneous encounters with elements like a roaring lion or a smiling daisy. This project illustrates a crossroads where ancient wisdom meets new technology, facilitating a unique interaction between natural, urban, and digital worlds.
This project leverages Instagram filters to provide a seamless and accessible experience without requiring an app installation.
